I wrote this poem after thinking about how we seem to allow fear to dictate what we do, or what we don't do, during moments in our lives.
Everything you desire is on the other side of fear, it really is. Whether it is quitting your job for another opportunity, i.e self-employment or travel. Or whether it is that girl or guy that you fancy and want to ask out...
Sometimes we let fear of the unknown control us. And we all know that we shouldn't let it. Because how do you know what the outcome will be?
Everything in your life are like pieces on a chess board, they're all options waiting for your move.
And that move may be good, or it may be bad, but you don't always know what it will prove.
So forget the outcome and make the move, because you'll always have another piece to advance.
You can spend your entire life pondering, but in the end you'll be wishing you'd just taken the chance.
