I believe that music is the sound of life. Why? There is always a tune, riff, melody, lyric or sound that when you hear it, takes you back to a memory in your life.
Whether it's a good memory, or bad, we create an emotional attachment to music. It can bring tears to our eyes, or leave us feeling inspired and full of joy. It's such a powerful thing. We feel the music within ourselves. In our soul.
And the best thing is, you don't need to know all the words to enjoy it.
This concept got me thinking about life itself and how it can be much like a song. Just how you don't need to know all the words to the song to enjoy it, you don't need to know all the words to your life.
In other words, you do not have to worry about having everything, right now in this moment. You don't have to worry about not knowing what will happen or come next. You don't have to worry about how fast or slow you're moving or what direction you're heading.
You just need to enjoy the present moment. And like when you listen to that song you love, let yourself be lost in the moment. Or let it take you away to that memory, and appreciate it as it is your life.
And for that moment, you will forget about what is to come. And you'll appreciate where you have been and where you are now.
